In 2025 the team of Volyn Foundation joins 3D-4CH project under the Digital Europe Programme — a transformative initiative aimed at revolutionizing how cultural heritage is preserved and shared through advanced technologies like 3D, AI, and XR.

Bringing together 20 partner organizations, including institutions from the EU and Ukraine, it establishes an Online Competence Centre for 3D to empower cultural heritage professionals with the knowledge and tools to harness 3D technologies fully. Volyn Foundation, an affiliated partner through CARARE, proudly contributes to this initiative.
The Centre will serve as a central hub for training, guidance, and innovation, offering virtual services, resources, and collaboration opportunities to bridge the digital divide in cultural heritage institutions. Through a fully online platform, it provides expert guidance, best practices, and certified training, fostering a community that advances digital skills in the cultural heritage sector.

The project supports Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Institutions by offering training, expertise, and resources, continuing efforts like “SUM – Save Ukraine Monuments” to ensure cultural heritage resilience amidst continued Russian aggression against Ukraine.

3D-4CH ensures a lasting impact by facilitating collaboration, offering virtual services, and integrating innovations. Its commitment to open access and interoperability guarantees that its tools and knowledge will remain available beyond the project’s duration, shaping the future of digital cultural heritage preservation.
