In 2024 Volyn Foundation joined the team of the Erasmus+ ACHIEVE CCS project, that is a collaborative initiative uniting partners from the UK, Greece, Turkey, France, and Ukraine to foster gender equality and empower young women in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS).

Women remain underrepresented in leadership and decision-making roles in CCS, facing barriers such as the gender pay gap and systemic discrimination. ACHIEVE CCS project creates real opportunities for young women, offering them training, mentorship, and networking that will empower them to shape the future of the industry.

Our transnational team fosters a more inclusive and diverse cultural sector through research on women, technology, and diversity in CCS; an academy equipping young women with career-advancing skills; and a digital platform showcasing their achievements.

By sharing knowledge, fostering dialogue, and amplifying women’s voices, we aim to create lasting change in CCS — one where leadership and opportunities are truly inclusive.

Beyond the project’s duration, ACHIEVE CCS project training materials and virtual exhibition will remain accessible, ensuring continued learning and inspiration. Through ongoing collaboration with our partners, we will keep advancing gender equality in the sector, embedding these values into future initiatives and policies.
